There is weak evidence from one publication (not confirmed by placebo studies) that Botox can reduced sebum production by inhibiting inervation of sebaceous glands in the skin. Thus, in theory by reducing sebum production acne can be improved. This treatment is not standard for acne treatment and it is not FDA approved.
